Storming Out (USAir Flight 1016)
On 2 July 1994, USAir Flight 1016 stalls and crashes into a residential area while attempting to land at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport during a thunderstorm, killing 37 of the 57 people on board. The investigation concluded that the aircraft encountered microburst-induced wind shear, causing it to crash.
